                   Four outstanding tutors from the Arthur Findlay College, Stansted Hall, England                                                        will provide a full week of instruction in the following disciplines

 

Trance Healing, Trance Speaking, Evidential Mediumship

 

Our tutors will be Minister Steven Upton, Minister Simone Key, Matthew Smith OSNU, and Stella Upton CSNU. Please see individual profiles. Classes will be limited to a maximum student/teacher ratio of 16 to 1 for Healing and Mediumship and 12 to 1 for Speaking. Total enrolment will be limited to 60 students.

The Courses

TRANCE HEALING   -   TRANCE SPEAKING

Whether you are a beginner, experienced medium, or just interested in finding out more about trance mediumship, i.e. 'dipping your toes in the water', you will receive appropriate tuition. An understanding of the entranced states required for mediumship can improve your attunement with the spirit world to enhance all forms of mediumship. Our tutors are leading practitioners and teachers of the trance process employing methods such as mind focus techniques and empowerment exercises designed to assist students in establishing a closer working relationship with the Spirit World.  Mediums working in the trance state allow the Spirit Teachers to share with us their guidance in order to assist us in our understanding of the power of Spirit. This provides a greater access to their knowledge and energies, for speaking, healing and physical phenomena.

 

                                                                 EVIDENTIAL MEDIUMSHIP

Beginner or advanced.........learn the distinctiveness of true evidence and take the next step in your mediumship. This is a unique opportunity to spend a week of intensive training to enhance your skills as a medium and build a closer working relationship with Spirit.

Remove the doubts about your ability to communicate with those on the other side; learn the discipline and the mechanics of establishing that connection which proves the reality of survival, that there is no death; learn to understand the difference between your imagination and the reality of Spirit.

Your tutor is specially trained to guide you through the process of achieving a higher level of consciousness and opening your senses to new levels of awareness and understanding. Be prepared to work hard with lots of practice and have fun at the same time.

THE TUTORS

MINISTER STEVEN UPTON 

Steven has been involved the Spiritualist movement since 1971. He started developing his healing mediumship in 1977, attending The Arthur Findlay College as a student from 1979 and qualifying as a SNU Teacher and College Tutor in 1995, specializing in the teaching of trance and trance healing.  Steven is now one of the most respected of practitioners and teachers of trance healing throughout Europe and North America.  He is also an Honorary Director and Spiritual Advisor for The Batten Gale Spiritualist Trust. MINISTER SIMONE KEY 

Simone's involvement with Spiritualism began over twenty years ago; she became a tutor at The Arthur Findlay College in the 1990s and works and  teaches in the fields of mediumship and healing throughout the UK and  internationally. She is involved with many aspects of Spiritualism, providing  lectures, seminars and workshops and is also a trainer of tutors.  Trance and  Trance Healing are important aspects of her work and are areas in which she    is constantly learning and developing her skills.  For more information visit her website at www.simonekey.co.uk    

MATTHEW SMITH, OSNU

Matthew was born in Staffordshire, England and has always been aware of Spirit. In childhood he would often talk to his "Spirit Friends" who guided him and his family through some difficult times. It is quite common for Mediums to have this link at childhood but unlike other mediums, he did not see or hear in the objective form; his visions were in the mind. He holds various awards of the SNU in Speaking, Demonstration, and Administration and has achieved the designation of Officiant. His work takes him all over the UK and Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America. He specializes in Trance Mediumship.  His website is www.matthewinspires.com 

STELLA UPTON, CSNU     

Stella took her first church service in 1990 and became a tutor at The Arthur Findlay College in 1999. Since then she has been teaching and demonstrating mediumship on a regular basis, along with private sittings for survival evidence or personal assessment.  A more recent development is the painting of Auragraphs.  Along with teaching at the College, she has been working with groups of students throughout the UK and internationally. Among the many subjects she teaches are Relaxation, Meditation, Awareness, Colour, Spirit Art, Paranormal Phenomena and Evidential Mediumship.  For more information on Stella see her website at www.s-upton.com
